This song was recorded in August 2012.  It is about a high school friend who had a tragic end.  On this recording, Gord Byrd had to play bass on a synthesized keyboard because of a motorcycle accident that resulted in a broken arm. And, when Gord (who doubles as our sound engineer) mixed this song, he had trouble with the original drum track so he decided, once again, to use the sythesizer as an instrument and “played” the drums himself. Give it a listen. It features Mike Moxam on piano.
